The Oakland Raiders are in need of a bruiser who can pound the ball at running back after the loss of Latavius Murray and who better than “Beast Mode” himself; Marshawn Lynch.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter broke the news about 9am E.T. today that the Raiders were indeed interested in luring Lynch to the Silver and Black.

The Oakland Raiders are strongly considering the acquisition of retired running back Marshawn Lynch, either through trade or by his release, league sources told ESPN on Friday.

Of course before any sort of signing can take place Lynch would have to come out of retirement. As a Bay Area native himself there’s no doubt Lynch would be welcomed with open arms by Raider Nation.
