Oakland Raiders history is filled with great quarterbacks among them Daryle Lamonica who recently had great praise for current signal caller Derek Carr, believing he truly is a “Raider” but more importantly he’s a winner.

In an interview that was shared via the Raiders official Twitter account, Lamonica made a few observations that stood out. Among them was his belief that Carr will one day break all of his records as well Ken Stabler’s records, if he stays healthy of course. If Carr’s numbers are any indication Lamonica has a point barring any major injuries as he’s only 25 years old.

The second item that stands out from Lamonica’s kind words is that Carr represents Al Davis’s mantra of “Commitment to Excellence” because of his unselfishness and his team-first attitude.

“I hope breaks all the records because that will mean we’ll have a lot of winning seasons and Raider Nation will have a lot to cheer about.”

-Daryle Lamonica on Derek Carr

There’s no doubt that Raider Nation agrees with Mr. Lamonica’s statement and certainly the next few years will be interesting to see if this prediction can come true.
