Allen, who turned 57 today is remembered as one of the greatest players to ever to suit up in the Silver and Black. Despite his longtime rivalry with now deceased owner Al Davis, fans have always remembered and respected Allen’s accomplishments.
A dual Pro Football and College Hall of Famer, Allen’s records and merits are still impressive to this day; six-time Pro Bowler, NFL MVP, NFL Rookie of the Year, and the Heisman Trophy recipient in 1981.
To this day you can see Raider’s fan donning Allen’s number #32 jersey, a testament of time as well as that of respect for the man.
From everyone here at RaiderRamble.com we wish Allen continued health and success.
