RaiderRamble.com would like to extend Happy Birthday wishes to one of the greatest and most respected icons in the Oakland Raiders’ treasured history, coaching hall of famer John Madden.

Madden is the most succesful coach in the organization’s history besides Tom Flores and John Gruden and while he did retire relatively young from coaching, he went on to become a commentating giant and the face of EA’s popular “Madden Football” franchise.

According to PFR.com, Madden’s winning percentage of  .759 ranks as one of the best and lets not forget he led the Raiders to their first Super Bowl win.

We wish him continued health and success as he continues to watch, like the rest of us, the resurgence of his old team.
