After the Oakland Raiders 2016 season ended in heartbreak, the organization has been full steam ahead of the 2017 campaign with the Lombardi Trophy as the goal. In order for the 2017 season to officially commence, there’s one last domino needing to fall — Training Camp.

The Silver and Black are looking to build off their 2016 success, where the squad won 12 games and clinched a playoff berth for the first time in over a decade.

Training camp in 2017 will serve as a key stepping stone for this youthful Raiders team to further their winning ways as they continue to climb atop their NFL counterparts.

The youth of Oakland’s roster is undoubtedly one of their biggest strengths and establishing a sense of chemistry early on will be vital as the team looks to surge back to the postseason and return with some hardware.

“July 28 – Veterans report to Napa Valley Training Complex

July 29 – First practice

July 31 – First padded practice

August 12 – Preseason Week 1 @ Arizona Cardinals

August 17 – Break camp and return to Alameda, Calif., practice facility

August 19 – Preseason Week 2 vs. Los Angeles Rams

August 26 – Preseason Week 3 @ Dallas Cowboys

August 31 – Preseason Week 4 vs. Seattle Seahawks

September 2 – Roster reduction to 53

September 10 – Regular season Week 1 @ Tennessee Titans”
