The Las Vegas Raiders hope to have another outstanding draft class the way they did in 2019. In order to do so, there are several positions they must address during free agency and the draft. On offense, wide receiver and quarterback are two positions that need to be upgraded. Here are some players that every Silver and Black fan should pay close attention to.
Quarterback
Sure, LSU’s Joe Burrow or Alabama’s Tua Tagovailoa would be perfect, but it would cost the Raiders the entire farm to get the opportunity to pick one of those prospects. The same can be said about Oregon’s Justin Herbert, so let’s take a look at the remaining top quarterback the Raiders can select in April.
Jordan Love, Utah State
Love didn’t replicate his 2018 success this past year. Yet, the kid has a cannon for an arm and is mobile enough to make plays happen with his legs. His overall size stood out in the first day in Indianapolis and his raw skills should shine with elite talent this week.
PROJECTED ROUND: Mid to late first.
Jacob Eason, Washington
Eason might have the strongest arm in the whole draft, but the problem with the former Georgia Bulldog is consistency, especially when pressured. If Raider Nation’s frustrated with Carr on plays in which the pocket collapses around him, how would they feel with Eason at quarterback? The good news is the Raiders have one of the best offensive lines in the NFL.
PROJECTED ROUND: 1-2
Jake Fromm, Georgia
Awe yes, the reason why Eason and current Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields, a potential 2021 first round pick, was Jake Fromm. He might have the weakest arm of this class top five signal-caller but he is a smart and proven leader. Won’t turn the ball over often but does have the tendency to hold on to the ball too long.
PROJECTED ROUND: 1-2
Wide Receiver
The top two wide outs in this class are Jerry Jeudy from Alabama and CeeDee Lamb from Oklahoma. The Raiders may decide to pass on Jeudy or Lamb even if they are available and take a quarterback or a defensive player. Trading back to acquire more picks is also an option.

Henry Ruggs III, Alabama
Everyone loves speed. The late Al Davis sure did. Ruggs may challenge the 40 yard dash combine record this week. Las Vegas may see Ruggs can as a Tyreek Hill clone. The Sooners receiver can be the home run hitter the Raiders offense has been missing in years.
Projected Round: Mid to Late 1st
Brandon Aiyuk, Arizona State
Aiyuk is a big play waiting to happen. The 5-foot-10 receiver who has a 80-inch wingspan, runs great routes, has excellent speed and is a threat in the return game. Ex-Bengal T.J. Houshmenzadeh is training him and according to Daniel Jeremiah of NFL Media, The former Bengals receiver sees a little Chad Johnson in Aiyuk.
Projected Round: 1-2
Tee Higgins, Clemson
Higgins is a tall and lanky receiver that has shown that he can come up huge on the big stage. According to NFL.com’s Lance Zlerlein, Higgin’s NFL comparison is former Pro Bowler A.J. Green. If that comparison is spot on, the Raiders would be set at wide out for years to come.
Projected Round: Late 1st
Jalen Reagor, TCU
Reagor is another guy that can move up this list with an expected blistering performance. Expected to run in the 4.3’s, this playmaker can simply fly. Smooth runner, who like Aiyuk, brings return skills as well.
