Social Media Reacts To Raiders Win Over AFC West Rival

In a game that was a story of two halves, the Las Vegas Raiders pulled away after halftime. As always, there was plenty to say on social media, particularly on Twitter.

After defeating the Los Angeles Chargers last weekend, the Raiders continued their AFC West win streak. You wouldn’t have known from the halftime score, but the Silver and Black really ran away with this one. There were plenty of positives to be had from this game. Whether it’s the play of the offensive line despite so many injuries or Derek Carr continuing his impressive play.

Unfortunately, there are always negatives even in victory. The pass defense still needs work, in particular, safety Johnathan Abram proved to be a liability today. With that said, let’s take a look at what Raider Nation had to say.

Raiders Fans Weighed In After Crucial Win

Maurice Moton of Bleacher Report had arguably the best Tweet as the Raiders wrapped up their win. Fans are accustomed to last-minute wins that probably cause some to have cardiac episodes. Well, that wasn’t the case today, at least not after the first half.

Broncos quarterback Drew Lock had a rough day, to say the least. The Raiders pass defense came away with four interceptions in this one and many fans like Nick Hjeltness probably were amazed to realize this.

Rich Eisen of the NFL Network probably said it best after the win, and this will be to the delight of Raider Nation.

Let’s face it, the Raiders thrive when everyone’s counted them out, they’re a tough team as Eisen pointed out. They still need to improve but a win is a win, especially in the AFC West. The Silver and Black should salivate this victory but not for long, the Super Bowl champions are up next.

  1. Huge win! Its been a long while since our nation has been able to enjoy a 4th quarter laugher cheersing beer mugs and counting fantasy stats .we still need to clean up stupid penalties on special teams (Johnathan Abrams).and unfortunately drops happen they’re part of the game I hope agholor doesn’t overthink and start jinxing himself again. I think ruggs will be fine it feels like its all going to click real soon. And Waller’s a stud he may have occasional drop but he snags alot of fastballs. It just kills me because I put 100 bucks on carr for mvp at 60 -1 and he would’ve had another 80 yards and 2 touchdowns for sure..it will all be good if carr repeats his performance he had in k.c. in week 5….we’re on the road to 11-5 or 12-4 if are D keeps improving….F KC…go RAIDERS
