The Only Nation Podcast crew tackles some Las Vegas Raiders news before chatting with veteran podcaster Murf Murphy from Raiders Fan Radio.
There are some interesting topics to open the floor
The Only Nation Podcast starts off this week’s episode by covering a bit of Raiders news. Among the topics are an interview with new defensive coordinator Gus Bradley, and the upcoming 30 for 30 on Al Davis.
This Las Vegas team brought in Bradley to fix a defense that ranked 25th in total yards and 30th in points allowed. Although it would’ve been interesting to see what Rod Marinelli could’ve done at the helm, the former Los Angeles Chargers defensive coordinator should be an upgrade over predecessor Paul Guenther.
Meanwhile, 30 For 30 is an ESPN series that explores significant events in sports history and this will be the second one to feature the Raiders. The first one focused on the team’s cultural impact in Southern California. The upcoming feature will focus on the late Al Davis and his relationship with former NFL commissioner Pete Rozelle.Â

Raiders Fans Radio host joins The Only Nation
Murf Murphy then joins the show and talks about being a podcaster for almost a decade. He remembers some interviews he has had with guests like Will Compton and Randy Hanson. Murphy also shares his views on The Silver and Black’s play and future.
We finish the show with a discussion about The One Nation Foundation. This foundation was founded in part by Murphy and gives back to the community through fundraisers for other organizations.
