Many are ecstatic with the current success of the Las Vegas Raiders, among those is the “Princess of Darkness” herself, Amy Trask.
A fan favorite of Raider Nation for years, Trask was the team’s CEO during some of the best, and worst, years in the team’s history. She was there when a young Jon Gruden led the team back to prominence. Unfortunately, she was also there when the Raiders began their downward spiral after an embarrasing Super Bowl XXXVII loss. Alas, the Silver and Black seem to be turning the corner here in the early going and Trask believes they’re showing promise.

Trask joined CBS Sports Network’s Adam Schein recently, there she heaped praise on the Raiders after their Monday Night Football performance.

Trask Took A Shot at a Former Raiders Coach
“I think Dennis Allen made his greatest coaching contribution to the raiders yet”

Dennis Allen, who coached the then-Oakland Raiders from 2012-2014, was the opposing defensive coordinator as the team defeated the Saints on Monday night. Trask has never minced words when it comes to Allen. Back when she resigned as CEO of the Raiders, she spoke on Allen as the team was going thru changes with general manager Reggie McKenzie at the helm, and it wasn’t flattering.
“What is more important? Keeping the same person in place or evaluating and considering and making sure you have the right person in place’… When you ask if (Allen) is the right person, I go back to what I opened with. Why has that narrative changed entirely in two years with the team’s performance?”
Fans are all too familiar with Allen’s struggles back in McKenzie’s early years after taking over as general manager. Fast forward to now though, maybe Trask has a point, Allen calling the Saints defense will be beneficial in helping the Raiders start something special in 2020.
