The Oakland Raiders have one of the most devastating receiver corps in football and the legendary Tim Brown believes “they can do something special”.

Tim Brown shared his thoughts via the Raiders official Twitter account.

The stats last year alone were scary for the top two catchers in Amari Cooper and Michael Crabtree according to PFR.com:

  • Cooper (83 receptions, 1153 receiving yards, and 5 touchdowns)
  • Crabtree (89 receptions, 1003 receiving yards, and 8 touchdowns)

However, not to be out done the rest of the group held their own with solid contributions especially Seth Roberts (38 receptions, 397 receiving yards, and 5 touchdowns).

Brown is no stranger to great receiving corps as he was a part of the one that helped lead the Silver and Black to their last Super Bowl appearance; he was aided by another Hall of Famer in Jerry Rice and a great slot receiver in Jerry Porter.

As we approach next season all eyes will be on this unit as they help re-establish chemistry with the returning Derek Carr.
