Final Seven Round Raiders NFL Mock Draft
Round One: Cam Robinson, T, AlabamaÂ
It seems the consensus among observers and fans alike is that defense should dominate this draft for the Oakland Raiders but the offensive line is far from perfect. Cam Robinson would not only help elevate this unit more than it already is but having such a talent can solidify the trenchers for another decade.
Round Two: Marcus Maye, FS, Florida
A muscular specimen with reach who can contribute instantly at free safety for the Silver and Black coming out of the SEC where Marcus Maye faced NFL-level talent on a weekly basis. A tandem of Maye and Karl Joseph could do something special for the defense, a Legion of Boom 2.0 perhaps?
Round Three: Desmond King, CB, Iowa
The beauty of this year’s draft is the deep defensive talent that allows Reggie McKenzie to rebuild with mid-round talent such as Desmond King. King and Maye could contribute right away if necessary in the backfield and let’s not forget they’d be under the guidance of NFL Hall of Famer Rod Woodson.
Round Four:Â Trey Hendrickson, OLB, Florida Atlantic
Trey Hendrickson playing the edge for the Raiders could potentially be the steal of the draft. Physically, he’s up there at the top with the big boys as he’s fast, strong, and has natural quickness. Being a “small school” product has him “flying under the radar” but make no mistake, Hendrickson playing alongside the talent that’s currently on the Raiders would allow him to wreak havoc on AFC West quarterbacks.

Round Five: Jalen Myrick, CB, Minnesota
McKenzie will continue to stock up on quality defensive backs into the later rounds and Jalen Myrick would be an excellent pick up especially given how late he’d be available. Though he might be limited in his role at first and could see action playing the slot more than anything, he has a lot of upside long-term.
Round Six:Â Channing Stribling, CB, Michigan
A big lanky corner who’s a true pest for pass catchers. He’s often playing inside the receivers jersey, his coverage is perfect for the Raiders secondary.
Round Seven:Â DeAngelo Brown, DT, Louisville &Â Thomas Sperbeck, WR, Boise State (Micah’s pick)
A big mammoth of a man capable of blocking out the sun, although shutting down the running game and sacking the quarterback will do just fine as the team needs to replace Dan Williams.
The shifty Thomas Sperbeck put up impressive numbers during his career at Boise State and would add much needed depth in Oakland’s slot position.
