Raiders’ Amari Cooper receives praise from unlikely source

Raiders’ receiver Amari Cooper has put in some impressive work his first two seasons, impressive enough to warrant praise from a rival. The Raiders recently shared some bits of Harris’ words via their Twitter account.

“Getting off the press and route running, I think Cooper’s one of the best in the League already.  “

-Harris on Cooper’s talent and place in the NFL

It should be noted that Cooper’s numbers against the Broncos last year (10 receptions, 95 yards, one touchdown) were pedestrian, in spite of that, it goes to show the respect the Broncos’ defender has and it’ll certainly be interesting to see if Cooper can step up is performance against one of the team’s fiercest rivals. That goes to show you that some things are bigger than a petty rivalry. Mutual respect among colleagues in the NFL is a beautiful thing. After all, thong wrong with “real recognizing real.” In all likelihood, the respect goes both ways, and this is a regular occurrence among all players.
