Year To Date Results

Rory: 27-32-4

Chris: 23-36-4

Ind @ NE -10

Rory: Being banged up is an understatement for the Colts. No Doyle, Mack, or Hilton for this game and Edelman coming back for the Pats I will eat the points.

Chris: With the thumping the Pats put on the Dolphins, I think the same thing happens here against the Colts.

Bal @ Cle +3.5

Rory: Cleveland really came out guns blazing against the Raiders in Week 4. The Ravens will have a better safety pairing and you won’t see some of those easy throws deep.

Chris: The Browns are playing? I’ll take the Ravens.

Jac @ Kc -3

Rory: Arrowhead is a dangerous place to play for opposing offenses. The thing is, Jacksonville is not driven by its offense but by the defense and we saw the Broncos start to slow Mahomes down.

Chris: I said it last week, I’ll say it again, I’m picking the Chiefs until they show me I should do otherwise. For now, they are still on top and it continues against the Jags.

Ten @ Buf +3.5

Rory: If Buffalo was getting 7 points I would take it, but the Titan’s defense is lighting people up and that should continue with rookie Josh Allen.

Chris: The Titans defense is legit and if they can get a consistent groove on offense, they could be a quiet contender in the AFC. I’ll take the Titans to cover here.

NYG @ Car -7

Rory: Carolina has a pretty decent defense and Eli has looked like garbage, but I cannot pass up on seven points with the kind of skill guys the Giants have.

Chris: The Giants looking concerning to me at the moment, I could see the Panthers winning big here.

Den @ NYJ -2.5

Rory: The Jets being favored even at home feels nuts. I will take the Broncos getting points against a rookie quarterback any day.

Chris: I am somewhat shocked the Jets are the favorite here. I think the Broncos will take this one on the road.

Atl @ Pit -3

Rory: Atlanta on the road and outside the confines of a dome is always risky business. With their injuries on defense they couldn’t stop my kids from raiding a cookie jar. Pittsburgh runs wild.

Chris: This will be another shootout for the Falcons, this time they come out on top over the Steelers.

GB @ Det +2

Rory: My trust of the Lions is at an all time low although I cannot really remember ever trusting them so the comment is purely hyperbole. Give me the Packers to win by at least a field goal.

Chris: The Lions look great one week, then terrible the next, I think we see a solid performance from them as they defeat the Packers by five.

Mia @ Cin -6.5

Rory: For Andy Dalton and the Bengals this is one of the best starts offensively that they have ever had. I expect them to win this game at home, but something tells me the Dolphins will do enough to keep it close.

Chris: The Dolphins started strong then ran into a pissed off Patriots team. Now, they face a confident Bengals team. This doesn’t look good for the Phins so I’ll take the Bengals in beat down.

Oak @ LAC -6

Rory: With no Bosa I expect the Raiders to go blow for blow with the Chargers in terms of points. Rivers may be the all time biggest Raider killer, but he’s walking the plank this week.

Chris: The Raiders are the underdog here and I think they cover the spread. The offense is rolling and I think this game is a close one that favors the Raiders.

AZ @ SF -4.5

Rory: Without Jimmy G playing for the Niners I am tempted to take the Cardinals to cover because it is more than a field goal. Fine I’ll do it.

Chris: The Cardinals lost in a close contest last week and I think they lose again here but it won’t be enough for the Niners to cover the spread.

Min @ Phi -3

Rory: The Eagles are still slogging through the mud offensively and are coping with plenty of injuries. I am expecting the Vikings to win this one.

Chris: The Vikings need a bounce-back performance and I think they add another L to the Eagles season.

LAR @ Sea +7.5

Rory: Seahawks are a funky team that I cannot figure out, but this is a division game at home which is always raucous and I think they cover.

Chris: On the road in Seattle with the 12th man roaring… I still think the Rams win by at least 10.

Dal @ Hou -3

Rory: Here we have two teams who are just completely without a sense of self. In this case I will be pulling for the Texans because they aren’t the Cowboys.

Chris: Houston finally got rolling last week with J.J. Watt playing like a madman and I think it continues against the in-state rival as they take down the Cowboys by 7 at home.

Was @ NO -6.5

Rory: Drew Brees in a dome at home less than 7 points to eat?? All day give me New Orleans.

Chris: Drew Brees seems to play better at home and I think he tosses four touchdowns as the Saints cruise past the Redskins.

Where we disagree: Jac @ Kc -3, NYG @ Car -7, Atl @ Pit -3, GB @ Det +2, Mia @ Cin -6.5, LAR @ Sea +7.5
