College Football Playoff Games Loaded with potential Draft Prospects for the Raiders

The Las Vegas Raiders will hold multiple picks in both the first and third round of the 2020 NFL Draft and with so many needs at pretty much all position groups, how will general manager Mike Mayock fill the cupboard? Easy, with players from big time programs the way they did in the 2019 Draft?

The College Football Playoff games on December 28th, between LSU and Oklahoma and Clemson and Ohio State, should be loaded with players that Raiders fans would love to see in Silver and Black next year. Here is a guide to some of the top players in these matchups.

Ohio State
#1, CB, Jeff Okudah, 6-1 200 * – Top cornerback in the draft. Three interceptions in 2019.
#2, RB, JK Dobbins, 5-10 217 *- He has rushed for 1,829 yards. 22 Total touchdowns in 2019.
#2, DE Chase Young, 6-5 265 *-Best player in College Football. 16.5 sacks and 6 forced fumbles in 2019. 10.5 sacks and 34 tackles. Is Young the next Von Miller?
#3, CB Damon Arnette, 6-0 195- One interception and seven passes defensed in 2019.
#9, WR Binjimen Victor, 6-4 199- 31 receptions, 507 yards and six touchdowns in 2019.
#14, WR KJ Hill, 6-0 195- 51 receptions, 569 yards, 10 touchdowns.
#24, CB Shaun Wade, 6-1 194- One interception, one sack, and 25 tackles in 2019.
#32, LB Tuf Borland 6-1 232 *- 52 tackles, one interception, and 1 sack in 2019.
#39, LB Malik Harrison, 6-3 240- 69 tackles, 4.5 sacks, 2 fumbles recovered, and four passed defensed in 2019.
#95, K, Blake Haubeil 6-4 225* – 10-12 on field goals and 83-83 on extra points in 2019.

Clemson
#5, Tee Higgins, 6-4 215 * – He will most likely be drafted in the fist round. 52 receptions, 1,082 yards, and 13 touchdowns in 2019.
#8, CB AJ Terrell, 6-1 190- Two interceptions, 23 Tackles, 0.5 sacks in 2019.
#9, RB Travis Etienne 5-10 210 *- He’s a playmaker. 1,500 yards rushing, 29 receptions, 298 receiving yards, and 19 total touchdowns in 2019.
#11, LB/S Isaiah Simmons, 6-4- 230 * – He might be the most intriguing player in the first round. Is he a safety or a linebacker? 93 Tackles, six acks, two interceptions, 1 forced fumble and one fumble recovery.
#12, S K’von Wallace, 5-11 205- Two interceptions, 58 tackles, eight passes defensed.

#74, OG, John Simpson, 6-4 330- He’s one of the top guards in college.

LSU
#1, CB Kristian Fulton, 6-0 200 – He’s considered a top corner in the upcoming draft. 1 interception in each 2018 and 2019. Was suspended for marijuana in 2017.
#2, WR Justin Jefferson 6-3 192 * – 88 receptions, 1,207 Yards, 14 TD’s in 2019.
#7, S Grant Delpit, 6-3 203 *- He’s Jim Thorpe Award winner, who injured his ankle in 2019. two interceptions, six passes defensed, and 56 tackles in 2019. In 2018, he had five interceptions, 9 passes defensed, and 74 tackles.
#9, QB Joe Burrow 6-4 210 – He’s the Heisman Trophy winner and most likely, the first overall pick in the draft. No stats needed.
#18, EDGE, K’Lavon Chaisson 6-4 250 * – 4.5 Sacks, 52 tackles and one forced fumble in 2019.
#90, DT Rashard Lawrence 6-2 308- 2.5 sacks, 23 tackles, one force fumble and one fumble recovery in 2019.

Oklahoma
#1, QB Jalen Hurts 6-2 218 – He’s the wild card of the draft. Is he the next Lamar Jackson or the next Tyrod Taylor? 3,634 Passing Yards, 32 touchdowns and only 7 interceptions. 1,225 yards rushing, 18 touchdowns on the ground in 2019.
#2, WR CeeDee Lamb 6-2 189 * – Lamb and Alabama’s Jerry Jeudy are arguably the best wide receivers in the 2020 NFL Draft. 58 receptions, 1,208 yards, 14 touchdowns, one rushing score in 2019.
#4, RB Trey Sermon 6-0 216 * – 385 yards, four touchdowns in 2019. 947 yards and 13 touchdowns in 2018.
#9, LB Kenneth Murray 6-2 234 *- Sideline to sideline Linebacker. 95 tackles and four sacks in 2019. He had a monster year in 2018 with 155 tackles, and four and a half sacks.
#14, WR Charleston Rambo 6-1 180 * – 42 REC’s. 734 Yards, five touchdowns in 2019.
#90, DT Neville Gallimore 6-2 302 – Four sacks, 2 forced fumbles and 27 tackles in 2019.
