As the worldwide pandemic continues, two Las Vegas Raiders players, Trayvon Mullen and Nevin Lawson teamed up for some charity recently.
Raiders Blog: A pair of players step up during pandemic
Lawson, who’s a client of Best Football, joined forces with Mullen and Chick-fil-A to provide over 250 meals for emergency room response teams.
As reported by Raiders.com, the duo is from Florida and despite the circumstances, it was great to see these players step up. As far as the actual meals, they were provided to responders in Broward County, in particular, Coral Springs Medical, Northwest Medical Center, Florida Medical Center & University Hospital.

They aren’t the only Raiders players to have a positive impact in their community as teammate Jalen Richard is funding gas cards for volunteers who are delivering food to low-income families and children in the Louisiana community.
This is coming off last week’s announcement that the Raiders would be donating $1 million dollars to help fight the virus. In a time of so much fear and uncertainty, it’s great to see professional sports organizations and players do their part and help local communities.
