While officially in its offseason, the NFL is starting to see the effects of the crisis that’s currently engulfing the world. The NFL Draft not following its usual format is just one example of this catching up to the league. As for the Raiders, Mick Akers of Las Vegas Review-Journal reported Monday that the organization has pushed the date for final season ticket dues until July 3rd.

Raiders president Marc Badain shared his thoughts via the Journal on Monday, “It made more sense to have one date at a later date than delaying it multiple times on a month-to-month basis.” This appears to make sense given that the current pandemic seems to be affecting and changing policies countrywide on a daily basis.

Badain went on to say regarding the Raiders that, “we wanted to assist the fans as best as we could under the circumstances, and this was the most responsive to their feedback.”

It’s been turbulent times for many folks with uncertainty still omnipresent. Yet, the Raiders are trying to do their part as this action gives financial flexibility to season ticket holders. From a humanitarian standpoint, Raiders players are doing their part too, such as Nevin Lawson and Trayvon Mullen helping emergency responders and Jalen Richard doing his part in his native Louisiana.
