The Las Vegas Raiders have found their future fullback in Alec Ingold. As a rookie in 2019, Ingold paved the way for the Raiders brutalizing rushing attack. In addition, the former Wisconsin Badger is making an impact in the lives of children and youth as well.
The Definition of a Modern Raider
Since the arrival of Mike Mayock to the Las Vegas Raiders in 2018, the winds of change have been tangibly felt. As the Silver and Black’s general manager, Mayock has been adamant about the type of player that the organization desires.
"The hard part is developing a team. And that's what we are trying to do. We are trying to do it by strengthening and improving our locker room with character, hard-working guys that love it. And that's what I'm really proud of. We stuck to it the whole time. Mike Mayock

Ingold is no stranger to hard work. Formerly an undrafted free agent, he fought to become a starter for the team in 2019. As a result, he was the catalyst to the Raiders dominant rushing attack.

His work ethic is second to none.
Here at the lab with @Raiders FB Alec Ingold in Verona Wisconsin. That’s a 54 inch jump on the seated box drill. The goal this offseason is adding more explosiveness. It looks like that objective is being met. pic.twitter.com/aQz4FF56LM

More importantly, his character is unquestionable.
Ingold Partners With Adoption Project
Alec Ingold has recently partnered with the Adopt Us Kids national project.
Did you know that I’m adopted? That’s why I’m partnering with @AdoptUSKids : to help raise awareness about the need for more foster and adoptive families for children and youth. Visit https://t.co/n9EwLGsKcm to learn more. S/o the little sis @sydnie_29 pic.twitter.com/lQtaMva7xy

The need for adoption in the United States is staggering.
According to the most recent federal data, there are currently more than 400,000 children in foster care in the United States. They range in age from infants to 21 years old (in some states). The average age of a child in foster care is more than 8 years old, and there are slightly more boys than girls. ~Via AdoptUsKids.org
Like Ingold, many children and youth from foster homes have been blessed with adoptive families. However, all children deserve an upbringing in a loving home. Without his family, the Raiders may have never had the opportunity to meet their starting fullback of the future in 2020. With Alec leading the way off the field, he is doing his part to ensure more adoptions for youth from foster homes.
