Raiders Getting Love From Rich Eisen Ahead Of Week 11 Game

Now that the Las Vegas Raiders are 6-3, they’re gonna start getting some national attention. However, Rich Eisen is showing love before it becomes cool to do so, and before everyone jumps on the bandwagon.

Raider Nation isn’t accustomed to hearing the Silver and Black receive national praise, and rightfully so. They have struggled mightily for what seems like an eternity. If your team isn’t relevant, there’s no reason for the national media to pay attention. That standard is now changing for Jon Gruden’s squad and for good reason. The Raiders are dominating AFC West as they have amassed six wins, the last one coming in dominant fashion.

In response to this upward trend, the host of the Rich Eisen Show is already calling his shot. This comes after Eisen recognized that the Raiders are in fact, a ‘tough, good football team’ via Twitter.

So What Did Eisen Have To Say About The Raiders?

“I say the Raiders have the best chance to make the Super Bowl out of all second-place teams in the AFC right now.”

Eisen’s opening statement should have Raider Nation excited. Out of all the 6-3 teams, which includes the Miami Dolphins and Tenessee Titans, Eisen believes the Raiders are the best. He emphasized the amazing running game, a total of 41 rushes for 203 yards by Josh Jacobs and Devontae Booker. In case you forgot, Eisen was also impressed with the fact that each running back had two touchdowns apiece.

“This team is physical. This team can run it down your throat.”

As far as the Raiders’ defense, he spotlighted the five takeaways, which has had Raider Nation feeling good compared to a few weeks ago when they were calling for Paul Guenther’s head. For those of you know that didn’t know, Eisen informed everyone the last time the Raiders had four rushing touchdowns and five takeaways was a 1975 New Orleans Saints matchup.

As for this Sunday, Eisen said that no one saw the Raiders coming last time they played the Chiefs. And if Carr plays efficient as he has been, combined with Jacobs, this team should get another win. If hyping up the Raiders wasn’t enough, Eisen left fans with this Al Davis tribute, ‘send Ruggs over the top, throw it deep, baby. That’s what Al would want.’
