Last week, the Las Vegas Raiders were humbled by the Atlanta Falcons. Now the Silver and Black move on to New York to take on the winless Jets.

The Raiders got clipped by the Falcons
The Raiders battled the Atlanta Falcons at Mercedes Benz Stadium on Sunday, but it turned out to not be much of a fight. The team formerly known as the ‘Dirty Birds’ won 43-6 in a game in which this Las Vegas team failed to score a touchdown.
Derek Carr had perhaps his worst professional game as he threw an interception and lost three fumbles on three sacks. Despite the lopsided score, the Raiders defense initially stood strong. However, they were simply overrun trying to make up for the good field position the offense gave up to Atlanta.
On the injury front, right tackle Trent Brown, defensive end Clelin Ferrel, running back Jalen Richard, and defensive back LaMarcus Joyner were out for the game. Fortunately, Mo Hurst and Cory Littleton returned to the lineup to help keep the score from becoming even more disastrous. Penalties were a sore spot for the Silver and Black. The referees ruled against them on crucial roughing the kicker, pass interference, and lowering the helmet calls.
