Raiders Week 13 Fantasy Football Preview and Predictions

In both the real and Fantasy Football world, the Las Vegas Raiders have a very favorable matchup this week. Playing the 0-11 New York Jets, the Silver and Black’s offense is expecting tremendous output.

While some may feel wary of trusting Raiders players, it would be more surprising if the offense didn’t bounce back against the lowly Jets. While quarterback Derek Carr isn’t the focus of this article, he and the offense should be able to right the ship after a very forgettable performance in Atlanta. We will be taking a look at three Raiders players who can help owners achieve crucial wins in the last Fantasy Football game of the season before the playoffs.

3 Raiders to keep an eye on

Devontae Booker, running back

For all of the Raider nerds who claimed Devontae Booker off waivers prior to Josh Jacobs’ Week 12 injury, your intelligence and loyalty will pay off. While Booker has spent all season as the backup, his production gives owners reason to be hopeful. While only averaging five points per game (ESPN Standard), Booker has made the most of his touches. Through Weeks 9-10, we saw what an increase in Booker’s touches can lead to. Within those two games, Booker had 24 touches and turned them into three touchdowns and 149 rushing yards. Combine this potential with a favorable matchup in the Jets, and Booker is a must-start in replacement of Jacobs.

Prediction: 14 Attempts, 79 Yards, 1 TD

Darren Waller, tight end

Continuing his trend as Carr’s favorite and most reliable target, Waller is a must-start. Through his weekly dominance of defenders who are either too slow or too small, ’83’ should have a very favorable matchup in Week 13. He currently ranks as the fourth tight end on ESPN Fantasy, Waller’s yard-after-carry ability and red zone presence should help him continue his season as a top-five fantasy tight end. While we can expect him to bring his A-game tomorrow, His fantasy owners are praying Jon Gruden continues to dial up plays for the Raider’s most productive weapon.

Prediction: 7 Catches, 62 Yards, 1 TD

It’s Boom or Bust For Raiders WR Nelson Agholor…

Nelson Agholor, wide receiver

While Booker and Waller are widely deemed as must-starts for this Sunday, the same cannot be said for wide receiver Nelson Agholor. ‘Nelly’ has had more fantasy success than any other Raiders receiver, but he hasn’t been consistent.

Agholor is the definition of a “boom-or-bust” fantasy player and is ultra-reliant on touchdowns. Averaging 7.8 points per game and reeling in a total of six touchdowns this season, it isn’t far-fetched to say ’15’ is the Raiders’ deep pass guy. While Agholor’s potential is there, you should steer clear unless you have no better options.

Prediction: 3 Catches, 49 Yards
