Raiders 2021 Draft Prospect Rankings: Interior Offensive Linemen

7. Landon Dickerson, RS Senior, Alabama

If you are drafting guys to play just one game, Dickerson is probably a first-round pick. He has size and power that should allow him to continue to dominate in the NFL. His technique is superb despite limited reps at center. That leads us to his biggest fault: durability. He has had injuries to almost every part of the leg that you can think of.

He has shown no signs of being able to stay healthy. Also, the fact that his injuries are all from the knee down is a massive red flag. It would not be surprising if his career was short and riddled with injuries, but if he can stay healthy, he could be dominant. His comparison is Brandon Linder of the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Grade: Late fourth round

8. Aaron Banks, Senior, Notre Dame

Aaron Banks is another mammoth guard. He has great power, and he pulls quickly enough. His technique is a bit flawed and he will not be great in zone concepts, but he should be a very good man-blocking road grater. Moreover, his pass protection is solid. The ceiling is not super high but he should be a solid starter in this league for a while. He projects as a poor man’s David DeCastro.

Grade: Early fifth round

9. Alex Leatherwood, Senior, Alabama

Leatherwood is an aggressive mauler. This got him into trouble at times playing tackle in college. Moving him inside should play to his strengths. He is probably a bit of a project, but his ceiling could be close to that of Kelechi Osemele. Whoever drafts him will need to develop him.

Grade: Early fifth round

10. Ben Cleveland, RS Senior, Georgia

Cleveland is a savvy guard with a mean streak. He has great technique and plays through the whistle on every down. At six foot six and 354 pounds, he almost too big. He is not very mobile. In a power scheme, he could be a real asset but he really does not fit any other NFL schemes. He has some D.J. Fluker traits, but Cleveland has a much higher ceiling.

Grade: Fifth round
