Raiders WR Bryan Edwards Will Have An Opportunity To Shine In 2021

After being listed as a starter on the Las Vegas Raiders’ initial depth chart, wide receiver Bryan Edwards’ potential is unlimited in 2021.

A lost season…

In 2020, Edwards’ season was full of disappointments. Most of the time, these were out of his control. After being selected in the third round and starting the first three weeks of the season, Edwards would get injured and be out until Week 8. At that point, he had lost his job to Nelson Agholor. After only eleven catches for 193 yards and a touchdown, his best football is clearly ahead of him.

If health permits, Edwards projects as the physical possession receiver the Raiders so badly need. Not since the days of Michael Crabtree has Derek Carr had a wide receiver he trusts to make plays for him in tight coverage. If the South Carolina product is capable of becoming that guy for the Las Vegas offense, he will not only play a valuable role but he’ll win over the hearts of Raider Nation.

The time is now!

Once again, Edwards is the story of training camp for the Raiders. As more highlights get released, the hype grows. However, this excitement is warranted. Truly, the best is yet to come for Bryan Edwards and he has all the tools to become one of the top wideouts in the NFL. The biggest obstacle will just be staying healthy.
