Gamble Ramble: Betting The Raiders In Week 6

After another stinker of a game, followed by a chaotic week, betting the Las Vegas Raiders is tricky heading into a challenging game at Mile High. Like always, all lines are via Draft Kings as of Friday afternoon.

Smartest Bet: Denver Under 2.5 Total Touchdowns (+100)

This game might not go very well for the Raiders as they have not played well lately. Denver is a good team playing at home, and the Raiders have that small issue of their head coach resigning this week. That said, the defense has been stout all season, while Denver’s offense has been average at best. Even if the Broncos win dominantly, they will still be hard-pressed to find the end zone more than twice. I could see them kicking three field goals and putting up 23 points, but that is likely the peak. The odds are pretty decent on this line as well. The best part about this bet is that you don’t have to worry about the Raiders offense.

Safest Bet: Hunter Renfrow Over 4.5 Receptions (-160)

Just as last week, hammer this line until Draft Kings changes it. It is a lock. Free money. It does not matter the matchup or the situation; Renfrow catching five balls is as likely as the sun rising tomorrow.

Best Risky Bet: Foster Moreau to Score (+750)

This is just fun. Moreau is one of those guys that we like to see have success. Everyone knows and loves Darren Waller, but what about the other tight end? Maybe Denver sees him as just “the other tight end” and sleeps on him a bit. The Raiders will need production from unlikely places if they want to win this week. Moreau could be that guy.
