During an important matchup for the Silver and Black today, the Las Vegas Raiders showed that they’re hungry for that playoff push.
Coming out with a victory once again against a very tough opponent in the Indianapolis Colts, Las Vegas was determined to walk out of Lucas Oil Stadium with nothing less than a W.
Defense Stepping Up
Defensive coordinator Gus Bradley deserves major kudos for the scheme he designed for this game, holding quarterback Carson Wentz to only one hundred and forty-eight passing yards. The elite pass-rushing duo of Maxx Crosby and Yannick Ngakoue stepped up when needed. They applied pressure and got stops in the trenches. The flow of the game was kept alive due to the hungriness of the Raiders’ defense.
That ferocity will need to continue as the Raiders head back to the confines of Sin City. What awaits them there, you ask? The Los Angeles Chargers. A team that would be more than happy to end the Raiders’ playoff hopes this season.
Let’s Give Hunter Renfrow Some Respect
During today’s game, electric wide receiver Hunter Renfrow itched his name into Raider history by eclipsing one thousand yards receiving in a single season. He finished this game with one touchdown and seventy-six yards on the receiving end. Hunter has slowly emerged as a big problem for defenses. While Hunter deserves props for today’s game, so does wide receiver Zay Jones. He also finished today’s game with more than one hundred yards receiving.

Daniel Carlson is Money
During the nail-biter, Derek Carr once again put his team in position to win. This time in the fourth quarter, when under extreme pressure, Carr found Renfrow for what appeared to be the game-winning touchdown, but he was ruled down. Despite all of this, Derek decided to drain the clock and allow Daniel Carlson to kick the game-winning field goal. This would be his third game-winning field goal in a row.
Derek Carr Can Still Deliver
Despite throwing two interceptions and being sacked, he still delivered on the field when it mattered the most, with two hundred and fifty-five passing yards. Carr is proving himself to be a solid key to the Silver and Black’s playoff push, in spite of his critics.
