Hunter Renfrow Expresses Gratitude As He Signs Extension With Raiders

Hunter Renfrow expressed gratitude earlier today following his two-year extension with the Las Vegas Raiders.

Appearing on the Upon Further Review show with Eddie Paskal, Renfrow sat down and spoke on several aspects of the 2022 offseason, among them his extension. In particular, Renfrow highlighted his feelings of gratitude toward the fans.

“I think gratitude is the first thing that pops into my mind. Gratitude to family, gratitude to former coaches, for teammates, [and] Raider Nation, just a whole different level of gratitude. And I’m just so honored to be a part of Raider Nation.”

Since his arrival with the Raiders, fans have embraced Renfrow. His hard-working ethic combined with his clutch play has made him a favorite. His on-field accomplishments have also made him one of the most underrated wide receivers in the NFL. Now that he’s locked in for another couple of years, Renfrow will make up one half of a potentially special receiving duo with Davante Adams.

“The thing that I kept going back to was [that] I love my teammates. I love Raider Nation. You know, we love Vegas. And so, for me personally, I felt like God was pushing me back to Vegas.”

Among those teammates are Maxx Crosby and Derek Carr, both of whom received long-term extensions from the Raiders this offseason. Obviously, this new regime wants to win, and they want to do it now. By securing Renfrow, they’re retaining one of the most dangerous slot receivers in the game. Mild-mannered, sure, but that doesn’t make him any less lethal. The love that Renfrow has for his team and the city of Las Vegas is quite obvious and likely played a role in him coming back. He’s committed to winning and has been since Day 1. Now that his services are secure, look for him to continue accomplishing great things.
