NFL Communications recently released their preseason schedule for this upcoming football season. As far as the Las Vegas Raiders are concerned, they’ll be featured on NFL Network in Week 1.
NFL Preseason Week 1 Raiders vs. Vikings
On August 4th, the Raiders will take on the Jacksonville Jaguars in Canton, Ohio in the annual Pro Football Hall of Fame game. Following this celebration, which is the preseason kickoff, the Raiders will host the Minnesota Vikings. That contest will take place ten days later at Allegiant Stadium.
“NFL Network’s Week 1 preseason live schedule concludes Sunday, August 14 at 4:25 PM ET with the Minnesota Vikings visiting the Las Vegas Raiders.”
The game will mark the first time that the home crowd in Sin City can catch a glimpse of the 2022 Raiders and their new additions. Expectations are higher than they’ve ever been in quite a long time for Las Vegas. Raider Nation is definitely looking forward to Davante Adams, Chandler Jones, Rock Ya-Sin, and Dylan Parham’s first games in Silver and Black.
The rest of the preseason will feature one more home game for Las Vegas against the New England Patriots. New head coach Josh McDaniels will face his old team and long-time mentor Bill Belichick on August 26. This will be a preseason game, though.
