The Las Vegas Raiders still need help at defensive tackle, so luckily for them, Ndamukong Suh is still available. While nothing concrete has surfaced from the Raiders, rumors are heating up after the former All-Pro made certain statements not that long ago. On top of that, the Raiders cut one of their cornerbacks, leading to some speculation now that a roster spot has opened up.

These rumors gained traction on Twitter when Brad Stainbrook of 247 Sports sent out a Tweet earlier today. In that Tweet, Stainbrook alerted folks that the Cleveland Browns were now out of the running for Suh’s services. In all likelihood, two teams will compete for the ex-Tampa Bay Buccaneers star. One of those teams is the Minnesota Vikings, who desperately need help for their defensive line. That unit allowed 130.7 rushing yards per game, according to the Vikings Wire. As for the Raiders, they lack a true pass rusher in the interior. The edges are set by Maxx Crosby and Chandler Jones. However, the interior is largely made up of run stuffers.
Should the Las Vegas Raiders pursue Ndamukong Suh?
When he appeared on ESPN, Suh made it known that he had spoken to some of the Raiders’ players recently. Those overtures aside, Suh stated that he and the Raiders would certainly be a fit this season. However, Suh has teased a run with the Raiders in the past, of which nothing came to fruition. Will anything be different this time around? Are Raiders fans setting themselves up for disappointment when Suh ends up signing elsewhere (again)? Training camp is just days away, so if something is to happen, expect this situation to take off soon. In the meantime, what are your thoughts on this whole situation with Suh?
