The preseason is back and the Las Vegas Raiders are set to open it up for the 2022 football year. In our latest edition of Raiders Notes, we’ll take a look at their arrival at the Hall of Fame. Additionally, we’ll see how a certain Uber ride went viral today.
Most fans like to say that the preseason doesn’t matter, or that the game is meaningless since most starters don’t play. However, any person that understands football realizes that the preseason has many implications for the roster. There are several players in the bubble who are on the cusp of making their NFL dreams a reality. Likewise, there are those that won’t crack the opening day roster because of their performances in these games along with their camp outings.
As for this year’s Raiders squad, they arrived earlier today in Canton. It will be a surely a great experience for many first-year players or those that have never visited it. While Derek Carr and Davante Adams, among others, won’t see the field, expect to see much movement from the offensive line. The various lineups and personnel developments in a live game will begin to provide the coaching staff with a clearer picture of what they’re dealing with. Keep an eye on the trenches, Raider Nation.

Raiders Notes: Breaking news, players need a bigger Uber, XL, perhaps?
On a lighter note, and one that had many fans laughing, a post from Adams’ Instagram account made waves today. Even the team’s official Twitter account shared the post, giving everyone a good laugh ahead of tomorrow’s matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
You know @renfrowhunter, there are bigger Ubers 😂

The funny video shows the camaraderie between Adams, Carr, Mack Hollins, and Hunter Renfrow as they find themselves in a hilarious predicament. All four players were crammed into what appeared to be a small-sized Uber ride. You can even see the dashboard cramming against Renfrow’s knees. The lesson of the day, according to fans reacting to the post, was that Renfrow needs to cough up some extra coin and get everyone an “XL” version of the ride.
