The Las Vegas Raiders are floundering this year, currently sitting at 2-7. With their Week 11 matchup against the Denver Broncos now inching closer, the team reports that left tackle Kolton Miller is out.
The Raiders released their list of inactive players for Sunday’s game, with Miller heading the list. Joining him will be running back Zamir White, cornerback Sidney Jones IV, and tight end Jacob Hollister. In terms of the O-line, this puts them in a precarious situation. While Miller hasn’t been his usual self this season, he’s still the best overall lineman for the Raiders.
According to Pro Football Focus, Miller has a 79.4 pass-blocking grade this season. As far as run-blocking goes, Miller is graded out at 76.1 in that department. He’s responsible for three sacks on quarterback Derek Carr. He has also been flagged four times this season. All in all, PFF has Miller giving up 22 sacks on the year.
Gotta figure it’ll be Jermaine Eluemenor at LT and Thayer Munford at RT, with Miller out for the @Raiders

With Kolton Miller out, the Raiders might now have to rely on either Jermaine Eluemunor or rookie Thayer Munford. Either way, it’s far from an ideal scenario. Munford has impressed thus far, but starting at left tackle is a massive undertaking. As the Raiders look to get back into the win column, the loss of Miller could be game-changing.
