When the Las Vegas Raiders take on the Los Angeles Rams in Week 14 of the NFL season, it’s now or never for them. While the Rams haven’t, the Raiders have recently been playing some of their best football of late. It’s time for the Raiders to add another victory to their record and keep their season alive. These are the three bold predictions that, based on how both teams have been performing, we expect to occur in this game.
Raiders vs. Rams: Prediction No. 1: Las Vegas blow outs the Rams, badly.Â
The Rams have defeated the Raiders by an average of 36 points over their last two meetings. Although that is terrible, the Raiders will return the favor to them in this game. Due to inconsistent play and injuries, the Rams are simply terrible. The Raiders have improved since and are finally looking like a good football team. For the Raiders, there are so many disparities between the teams that Josh McDaniels ought to be grinning.
The Raiders seldom make things simple, but this time they will handle a team with ease. Other than being a terrific game to watch for Raider supporters, I wouldn’t want to watch this one if I was a Rams fan. This will be the Raiders’ second lopsided victory of the season, and supporters will finally be able to breathe while watching a Raiders game.
Prediction: Raiders 38, Rams 10
Raiders vs. Rams: Prediction No. 2: Davante Adams burns the Rams secondary
Adams is undoubtedly the best Raiders receiver since Tim Brown. Aaron Rodgers was credited with making this man, but he is currently on track to have a career year. And the Rams are going to be the victims of another great Adams performance. According to StatMuse, Adams averages 118 yards against the Rams. He will surpass these numbers without a doubt against a weakened Rams secondary. The terminator won’t be able to be stopped by Jalen Ramsey and company. Just a friendly reminder to the Raiders that when you get the ball to 17, beautiful things happen.
Prediction: Adams finishes with over 140 receiving yards and two touchdowns
Raiders vs. Rams: Prediction No. 3: Chandler Jones continues his resurgenceÂ
It took him a few games, but Jones is finally providing some much-needed pass rush for the Raiders’ defense. It was clear that Jones had slowed down, but now he is playing some fantastic football after finding some juice. The Rams have allowed 42 sacks on the season, which ranks third in the NFL, per StatMuse, so this is a nice matchup to continue that momentum. Jones must continue to sack the quarterback, regardless of who the Rams start at quarterback. Expect “Old Spice” to continue to look like himself considering the Rams offensive line’s poor pass blocking.
Predictions: Jones totals two sacks, four tackles for loss, and four quarterback hits.
