WATCH: Raiders Fan Crashes Through Awning After Chiefs Win

In what many Las Vegas Raiders fans would like to forget, the Kansas City Chiefs came into Allegiant Stadium and wreaked havoc in Week 18. Coming off the heels of a remarkable performance against the San Francisco 49ers, many fans in attendance were hoping for a similar performance. Instead, they got the opposite. For one fan, there was some injury added to insult. Though in hindsight, it could’ve been much worse.

Thanks to the Twitter username “Las Vegas Issues,” a video has been making the rounds showing what happened that fateful day. You can see in the video that the man’s hat fell over the grass partition, and he jumped over it. Perhaps he was thinking he could retrieve it. The problem was that the awning below (with The Raider Image logo above it) was not solid; maybe he thought it was cement? Regardless, that wasn’t the case, like, at all.

Raiders Fan: Man Down…

After carefully examining the video, it’s quite clear that the Raiders fan thought little of what was beneath. With all of the confidence and bravado in the world, he just casually leaps over and doesn’t give it a second thought. In fact, he seems to jump over with enthusiasm. Of course, the added soundtrack of “Chariots on Fire” adds to it, if we’re being honest. If you look carefully, there was a little boy near the site where the fan comes crashing down. At that point, it goes from funny to potentially tragic in a blip.

It wasn’t bad enough that Raiders fans were subjected to a lashing by the Chiefs to close out the 2022 regular season. Then again, can we blame that fan? Those Raiders hats are not cheap these days; who wouldn’t dare go over and try to retrieve their belongings? That’s especially true if we’ve had a few drinks in our system by then. Once again, the internet is laughing at Raiders fans.
