Thanksgiving and football is one of the most incredible combinations. Now, Allegiant Air is willing to help fans get to Las Vegas to watch Davante Adams and the Raiders face the Kansas City Chiefs over the holiday weekend.
Vegas will eye a bounce-back 2023 season, and if they want to win the AFC West, they’ll need to get a win over the reigning Super Bowl champions. If any fans want to spend the holiday weekend in Vegas, there’s an opportunity to do so.
One potential player that fans will see in that Chiefs-Raiders game is wide receiver Davante Adams. The 30-year-old is one of the top players at his position, but former Dallas Cowboys star Dez Bryant doesn’t see Adams as a fantasy football star.
More flights to Vegas for Raiders-Chiefs
FOX5 Las Vegas reported on Wednesday that Allegiant Air will have additional extra flights to the city over the Thanksgiving weekend. If Raiders or Chiefs fans from outside the city want to spend time in Vegas, they’ll have more flight options.
Allegiant added four temporary flights, including one to Harry Reid International Airport. The extra route will permit Chiefs fans to fly to Vegas for that weekend’s contest.
If the Silver and Black can be above .500 heading into the matchup against Patrick Mahomes and Co., this contest will definitely be one many fans will fly out for as the marquee matchup of the weekend.
Is Davante Adams not a top-five wide receiver in fantasy football?
With the NFL season approaching, not only are some fans preparing to have their Sundays filled with football, but they’re likely following various players on their fantasy teams.
Adams is one player many will scoop up early in the drafting process; however, Bryant was asked about his top-five fantasy receivers for the 2023 season, and he didn’t have the Raiders star in his top five.
“Garrett Wilson, CeeDee Lamb, Stefon Diggs, Justin Jefferson, [and] Ja’Marr Chase,” Bryant tweeted. “No particular order, lol those top guys will lead the pack.”
Bryant did have an opportunity to revise his original selection when asked about not having Adams; he did add Tyreek Hill as an honorable mention, but still left the Raiders receiver out of that, too.
Perhaps the uncertainty at quarterback might have affected Bryant’s decision. Still, if Jimmy Garoppolo is healthy, it will be interesting to see if Adams produces like a top-five fantasy receiver again.
