Week 4 for the Las Vegas Raiders is already a “must win,” if we’re being honest. The question is, how confident is Raider Nation right now?
One thing that holds true through it all is that Raiders fans are a passionate bunch, right or wrong. After an offseason where head coach Antonio Pierce consistently spoke about culture and his team going out and making statements, this season has been, well, lackluster. Let’s approach the situation objectively.
Many within Raider Nation bought into the notion that their team would have an “elite” defense, and in spite of the shortcomings at quarterback, the offense would flow through its tight ends and superstar wide receiver. If we’re trying to be civil, none of those things have manifested themselves. Instead, the Silver and Black are currently sitting at a 1-2 record, with many Raiders fans already calling for Pierce’s firing and eagerly anticipating the NFL draft next year.
Life comes at you fast if you’re a Raiders fan.
Browns vs. Raiders: Gauging the pulse of Raider Nation
Will the Raiders be 2-2 after Sunday?

As always, we presented the question to our readers and followers via social media. You can cast your vote on our X/Twitter poll above. Not surprisingly, the votes are split down the middle right now, as we’re about 24 hours away from kickoff as of this publication.
The question isn’t so much about “how we got here,” as it is more about unrealistic expectations from Raider Nation. People bought what “AP” was selling—not all fans, but the majority. Still, with the team already having a “coming to Jesus” meeting after Week 3 and players visibly quitting on the field, we have to wonder what exactly is going on. Have the wheels fallen off already? A Cleveland Browns team dealing with its own litany of issues will be marching into Allegiant Stadium on Sunday.
If the Raiders can’t pull off a win in any way, the pitchforks might really start to come out at 1-3.
