Week 4 is here for the Las Vegas Raiders as they welcome the Cleveland Browns to Allegiant Stadium; what are we predicting for Sunday?
Last weekend’s home opener for the Silver and Black really did a number on Raider Nation. Fans are already turning on each other, and more importantly, they’re turning on the Raiders coaching staff. Nevertheless, the old adage holds true—”winning cures everything.” Right now, the Silver and Black just need a victory; they need to stop the bleeding.
If this team loses against the Browns, the wheels might really fall off at 1-3. Right?
The thing is, none of us know who this Raiders team really is. Is it the squad that pulled off an upset over the Baltimore Ravens that, for a moment, put the league on notice? Or is it the squad that squandered their season opening game against the Los Angeles Chargers? The truth is probably in the middle when it comes to this team—good enough to win a few games but far from being a playoff contender.
Regardless, let’s stay focused on Week 4 for now. What does the Raider Ramble staff predict?

How a Las Vegas Raiders game concludes is anybody’s guess; you never know what you’re going to get on a week-to-week basis. So why shouldn’t the Raiders be back in the win column in Week 4 immediately following a downright embarrassing loss in Week 3 that followed a win that shocked the NFL world in Week 2? Sin City’s 2024 campaign is a roller coaster, and another twist is upon us.

With the team missing out on both Davante Adams and Max Crosby, the Raiders will miss their star players. Jakobi Meyers will explode in this game and have his best numbers so far this season. The defense will struggle, missing many key players due to injury. However, the Browns offense has also faced significant challenges. It will be a tight matchup with two inferior offenses fighting for points. Both teams will rely heavily on their kickers due to their critical role.

When we look at how things have shaped up thus far, you’d be shocked to hear that the season isn’t over. The AFC West, or at least the second-best spot, is still up for grabs. Losing Davante Adams is undoubtedly devastating, and Maxx Crosby’s obvious limitations, even when he participates, further complicate matters. Nevertheless, if Jakobi Meyers can step up in a more primary role, anything’s possible. For the love of God, find a way to get the ball to Brock Bowers often and early.
