As the NFL Combine commences this week and the offseason intensifies for the Las Vegas Raiders, one aspect remains unchanging. In fact, it’s been the constant as far back as most of us can remember—that, of course, the quarterback conundrum. In terms of veteran help, two names keep popping up currently: Sam Darnold and Matthew Stafford. But if you’re a fan of the Silver and Black, who do you want?
As we all know, Raider Nation is not one to hold back its opinion. That’s especially true on a divisive topic such as this one. Thus far, almost 80 percent of the voters are in favor of Stafford as the target right now. You can cast your vote via our X/Twitter live poll below.
If you’re Raiders GM John Spytek and HC Pete Carroll, who are you going after?

Most people are aware that the Raiders had a challenging season this past year. Indeed, it was a challenging season. After a season where the likes of Gardner Minshew, Aidan O’Connell, and Desmond Ridder all started games, new head coach Pete Carroll surely just wants stability right now. Of course, the NFL draft will provide a long-term option to groom, but the Raiders also need to be competitive right now, which is why you bring in a veteran at this time.
Stafford has about as impeccable a resume as you want in your starting signal-caller. The Raiders haven’t had a Super Bowl champion at this position in a very long time—Stafford gives you a certain level of pedigree. On the other hand, Darnold saw a career revival with the Minnesota Vikings. Some argue that he played in a perfect system with the right coach and an abundance of offensive talent. Could the Raiders replicate that?
Don’t forget to let us know your thoughts on this, Raider Nation!
