Who should the Las Vegas Raiders go after with regard to the quarterback position? Raider Nation seems to be opting for Justin Fields at the moment.
Clearly, Raiders fans seem to be unanimous in their disapproval of Aaron Rodgers. Be that as it may, Rodgers is probably still an improvement over anyone that the Silver and Black trotted out last season. Conversely, looking at our recent poll on X, Russell Wilson doesn’t seem like a popular choice either.
Who should be the next target for the Raiders?

Maybe Raider Nation isn’t a big fan of Wilson’s self-marketing? Still, he does have a lot of winning history with current Raiders head coach Pete Carroll.
Then we have Fields.
The former 11th overall pick from 2021 is still one of the league’s dynamic young signal-callers. He’s proven to be a dual threat in the past (1,143 rushing yards in 2022) and if we’re being honest, the Raiders haven’t had that in a long time. Aidan O’Connell likely isn’t going anywhere, but at this point, it’s probable he’s just a serviceable backup and not a long-term linchpin.
Fields is also more than likely the cheapest option this offseason—the opposite of, say, Sam Darnold, who’ll likely command big money. Still, there are plenty of questions surrounding Fields. He’s struggled with his decision-making in the past, though he had some respectable outings for the Pittsburgh Steelers last year. Then again, new offensive coordinator Chip Kelly should, in theory, be able to build around his strengths—RPOs, designed runs—but the team would also need to shore up the offensive line.
What say you, Raider Nation?
