Las Vegas Raiders head coach Pete Carroll 2025 NFL Draft

3 Mid-Round Receivers Las Vegas Raiders May Consider In 2025 NFL Draft

The Las Vegas Raiders used their first-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft on Georgia tight end Brock Bowers. Sin City didn’t expect him to be available at the 13th-overall selection, but he was; needless to say, the Silver and Black are happy with how things played out.

One benefit that came with Bowers was his ability to mask some of the inefficiencies at the receiver position in Las Vegas. The Raiders traded Davante Adams halfway through the year, and while they got some good production from Jakobi Meyers, there wasn’t much to speak of behind the 28-year-old.

Although the receiver position isn’t the biggest need on the roster, it’s still one that Raiders will likely address at some point in the upcoming draft. Let’s take a look at three receivers that would make sense for Las Vegas to select towards the middle of the draft.

3 mid-round receivers the Las Vegas Raiders may consider selecting in 2025 NFL Draft

Isaiah Bond, Texas

If it was up to Al Davis, he might take Bond with the sixth-overall pick.

If there’s one word to describe Bond’s game, it’s speed. His top-end speed is simply elite and he can take the top off a defense on any play. He accelerates quickly and changes pace while breaking in his routes, which is where his burst allows him to easily create separation.

Bond is comfortable with the ball in his hands and his speed makes him a massive threat after the catch.

That said, it’s not all sunshine and roses with the Texas receiver. Against NFL competition, he’ll likely struggle to compete physically early on. That’s something that will improve if and when he grows stronger, but it may hinder him in his first season or two. His lack of physicality also hurts him in contested catch situations.

Las Vegas does have Jakobi Meyers, though, who can bring down some of those contested catches. For reference, Meyers finished his ’24 campaign with 16 contests catches; the 10th-most in the NFL.

Bond isn’t  the most physical receiver, but he won’t be pushed around, either. With Bowers and his size on the field as well, Bond could fit into the Raiders’ offense nicely.

Savion Williams, TCU

Savion Williams is another receiver whose playmaking ability would be welcomed on the Raiders’ offense.

Williams has a massive build for the position, standing at 6-foot-4, 222 pounds. The TCU wideout has a nice combination of speed and explosiveness to pair with that size, giving him a high ceiling. He’s a weapon with the ball in his hands and took advantage of defenses on shorter passes and jet sweeps in college, where he really got to explode.

Both his size and explosiveness is needed in Sin City.

However, there’s a lot of rawness to Williams’ game. He’s not the best route-runner and he’s inconsistent with his hands. His overall production was somewhat inconsistent in college as well. Williams is a player with a ton of potential, but he’s certainly going to take some time to develop.

Still, he’d be a high-reward player for the Raiders if they can develop him the right way. He should be available in the third round.

One last potential Day 3 option for Las Vegas Raiders in 2025 NFL Draft

Isaac TeSlaa, Arkansas

TeSlaa is a player who’s grown in popularity recently, and has started to push his way up draft boards.

At 6-foot-4, TeSlaa is a big player. He saw a lot of time in the slot at Arkansas where his size allowed him to create mismatches against typically smaller nickel corners. He’s strong for his frame, and can play through contact against more-physical corners. He’s sure-handed and puts in the work as a blocker as well.

However, TeSlaa didn’t bring a lot of production with him during his two seasons at Arkansas. He also struggled to beat press coverage, and it takes him longer to accelerate than other receivers, which isn’t a great combination to have. TeSlaa should be available later than the other receivers on this list, and while he has a ways to go, he brings a lot of promise with him as well.
