Raiders News: Maxx Crosby, NFL Draft, and more.

Raiders DE Maxx Crosby Loves The Team’s ’25 Draft Class

Earlier this offseason, the Las Vegas Raiders‘ regime made one thing apparent. Maxx Crosby is the face of the franchise. His worth was proven after he signed a three-year, $106.5 million contract. He was present at the opening press conference for new head coach Pete Carroll.

All of the evidence shows that “The Condor” believed in the vision of this new regime. As long as the star player is happy, this team has a chance to be great. He recently expressed his feelings on his podcast, ‘The Rush.

Maxx Crosby thinks the Raiders’ front office followed the game plan

“I have to give our front office a lot of credit,” Crosby said. “There was a game plan, and it was executed.”

The Raiders drafted a star running back, four offensive playmakers, and four linemen for the trenches. Additionally, the team traded for a quarterback in Geno Smith. This roster has completely shifted in a short amount of time.

Crosby said that he reached out to every player the Raiders drafted. “I take a lot of time and effort to reach out and meet the guys because I know how much it means,” Crosby said.

‘The Condor’ talked about his favorite draft picks

For a long time there has been mutual interest between Ashton Jeanty and the Raiders. Coincidentally, Crosby and Jeanty are both sponsored by Saxx Underwear.

Because of this connection, No. 98 reached out to the Boise State running back before the draft. “I try to manifest everything,” Crosby said. “I just shot him a text.”

Obviously, the Raiders did draft Jeanty with the sixth overall pick. He will be the lead running back for years to come.

Certainly, the star defensive end also noticed the second-round pick, Jack Bech. The TCU wide receiver is a phenomenal player and has a touching story. His adversity deeply affected his new teammate.

“You are bringing a guy in the locker room with a real story,” Crosby said. “It is cool to learn the story and backstory behind these guys.”

Before the season starts, all of these rookies will get the opportunity to meet No. 98. This new-look Raiders team hopes to establish a winning culture, and they are on the right track. Because of this draft class, Las Vegas has a chance to make some noise this season.
