A new concept that we’re trotting out is a series of videos addressing the history of the Las Vegas Raiders. Whether it was their Oakland, Los Angeles, or, more recently, their Sin City location, we’ll be tackling multiple lists.
It’s titled “Raiders Explained.” Our inaugural entry is quite a challenge, as we bravely endeavored to identify the eight greatest players in Raiders history. As you can imagine, this task wasn’t easy, given the rich history of the Silver and Black. Furthermore, let’s be clear: Raiders fans passionately defend the organization’s rich history—their wins and losses, the high points and the low points. They are always ready to correct or disagree with you. That said, we wouldn’t have it any other way.
Who are the eight greatest Raiders of all time?
As with anything that deals with ranking or “counting down” players, moments, etc., the results will always be open to interpretation. This list is no different. Surely not everyone will be in agreement, which surprises no one given the amount of fervor and love that Raider Nation has for its team. Still, we’ll be back with more of these and they’ll likely spark just as much debate.
