Las Vegas Raiders TE Brock Bowers

Raiders TE Brock Bowers Soon To Be No. 1 NFL Player Under 25

It’s important to mention that by this time next year, Las Vegas Raiders star tight end Brock Bowers may be regarded as the NFL’s top player under the age of 25.

You’ve probably heard all there is to know about Bowers. Even though the Raiders needed a quarterback during last year’s NFL draft, the talented Georgia player unexpectedly fell into their hands. After Las Vegas made the clear choice to select Bowers, the rookie never looked back.

The fact that he achieved 1,194 receiving yards and five touchdowns through the air, regardless of who played quarterback, speaks volumes.

At the same time, rookie accolades were bestowed upon Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels. Bowers’ position put him at a disadvantage for Offensive Rookie of the Year—however, he added plenty to his resume. A rookie All-Pro and Pro Bowler sounds nice, doesn’t it? Still, Bowers wants to win, and he made that clear this past season.

The future looks bright for the Raiders’ star…

Bowers isn’t even in his prime yet, which is scary for the rest of the AFC West. On second thought, it should be a concern for the entire league. For even more perspective, Sam Monson of The 33rd Team recently released his “Top 25 Under 25” list. Bowers, for his part, came in at No. 4.

That’s quite notable, but then you realize that the rest of the top six is made up of the likes of Kyle Hamilton, Penei Sewell, and Jalen Carter ranked above Bowers. Just below Bowers, you have Daniels and Puka Nacua.

At just 22, Bowers could feasibly be Monson’s No. 1 guy next year, as all of the aforementioned players will be past the age limit. Barring injury or any setbacks under Chip Kelly’s offense, the Raiders really might soon have one of the league’s top players.
