The Raiders’ new shot-caller made his expectations crystal clear when asked what success looks like in his first year. “Oh, we are going to win a ton,” Carroll said confidently, addressing the media this week. “I can’t even imagine anything else.” Well, there you have it, folks.
It’s classic Carroll—optimistic, driven, and unbothered by outside noise. With two decades of winning seasons under his belt, he’s not here to hope for progress—he’s expecting it. “I’ve been winning 10 games a year for 20 years or something,” he said. “It isn’t about what anybody hears.
