Raiders News: Caleb Rogers, and more.

Raiders Finally Letting Rookie Caleb Rogers Get Some Playing Time

Caleb Rogers entered the draft as a raw prospect with high upside. At Texas Tech, he started 55 games—the most in school history for an offensive lineman—playing a versatile role along the line. While he lined up at tackle in college, his skills project best as an interior lineman for the Las Vegas Raiders.

Injuries to Dylan Parham and Jackson Powers-Johnson create a potential opening for the rookie.

Raider Nation has clamored for more playing time for rookies, but Monday Night Football against the Dallas Cowboys is a daunting test. The team not only added Kenny Clark but also Quinnen Williams, making it a tough debut for an interior lineman.

Caleb Rogers is not scared of the moment…

“Could not think of a better opportunity week one as a starter to make me better than to go against someone like Quinnen Williams,” Rogers said.

Despite facing one of football’s top defenders in Quinnen Williams, the Texas Tech alum isn’t backing down. Add the disruptive Kenny Clark to the mix, and Monday’s matchup becomes a formidable test—but one that could kickstart an impressive career trajectory.

What will this mean for the future of the Raiders’ offensive line?

Although Kolton Miller hasn’t played since Week 4, he remains the cornerstone of the Raiders’ offensive line—a key reason the team signed him to a three-year, $66 million deal. He’s set at left guard for now and the future, and unless Powers-Johnson is traded, Miller could also anchor at center. Every other spot is up for grabs.

D.J. Glaze has struggled this season, allowing five sacks and posting a 49.1 PFF run-blocking grade, while Dylan Parham has been inconsistent with several lowlights and likely won’t return in 2026. Rookie Caleb Rogers can step in at either guard spot.

Monday’s game will be a test to see what type of player No. 76 is. The Raiders need at least two new starters this offseason, but a strong performance from Rogers could reduce that number.
