Raiders News: Klint Kubiak, and more.

Las Vegas Raiders hire a winner with a birds-eye view

The Silver and Black hired more than just a trendy name. The Las Vegas Raiders are placing their trust in a proven offensive strategist who has a comprehensive understanding of what works in today’s NFL, and they plan to build it quickly and correctly.

Give Raider Nation a hell, yeah!

Kubiak finally let the cat out of the bag during a Super Bowl LX postgame interview with Stacey Dales. He told her he planned to spend the rest of the evening celebrating and that he would head to Las Vegas on Monday. Kubiak sounded eager for his next challenge, giving Raider Nation a much-needed “Hell yeah.”

Under the guidance of general manager John Spytek and minority owner Tom Brady, the Raiders carried out a comprehensive coaching search. The club spoke with a wide range of candidates to ensure it made the right decision. In hindsight, the deliberate pace tested patience. People widely viewed Kubiak as the top candidate in this cycle, and a Super Bowl win only solidified that perception.

Making the Raiders great again…

Kubiak arrived to sign his reported five-year contract just before the Seattle Seahawks held their victory parade. If the Raiders have genuinely turned a corner and plan to support him, he should have at least three guaranteed years on the sidelines. While the hiring is generally regarded as a solid decision, the extent of the roster and organizational challenges he faces is hard to overlook.

Stability will be Kubiak’s first test. He will not do it alone. Spytek has been in championship organizations. He has seen how to build a roster with purpose. Brady, now a minority owner, has gathered insight as a broadcaster. He has seen what works across the league.

Still, the job is Kubiak’s. He has to win. The young coach has to develop the quarterback, whoever that becomes. He also has to build an offense that can hold up year after year. That unknown remains central to the plan.

Kubiak’s hire stands out. The Raiders seemed to prioritize the right factors. They ran a thorough search. They landed a coach they believe fits. Time will tell. For now, the move signals a push for stability and long-term direction heading into 2026.
