Raiders: All Eyes On The Defensive Ends

Oakland Raiders fans should be buzzing at the moment. Even though Khalil Mack hasn’t yet signed a new long-term deal, there’s plenty to be optimistic about. The offseason acquisitions have settled in nicely, earning rave reviews, especially one of my personal favorites, Arden Key, the recruit from LSU in this year’s 2018 NFL Draft. Key …

The Raiders’ most important position coach: Derek Ansley

When the Raiders poached Derek Ansley away from the Alabama coaching staff, it was viewed as a great hire.
Ansley has come up from the vaunted Nick Saban coaching tree and helped develop some high-level defensive back prospects. After a secondary unit that took 13 weeks to produce an interception (the first of the year was snagged by a linebacker), Ansley is expected to improve the group significantly.

Raiders sign former Seahawks OL Oday Aboushi

The Oakland Raiders have signed former Seattle Seahawks offensive lineman Oday Aboushi. Offensive line coach Tom Cable and Aboushi will be reunited after the two spent 2017 in Seattle together.

The signing of the Aboushi will add significant depth to the Raiders offensive line. And it comes at a needed time as Donald Penn has reportedly started camp on the PUP list. Here are five things to know about the newest addition to the Silver and Black.
