Oakland Raiders general manager Reggie McKenzie recently signed undrafted free-agent Nicholas Morrow from Division III Greenville College despite making the secondary a point of emphasis during the 2017 NFL draft selecting players such as Gareon Conley, Obi Melifonwu and Shalom Luani, respectively.
The Oakland Raiders and general manager Reggie McKenzie have moved fast to stockpile on undrafted players, one of these players is former Rutgers’ star safety Anthony Cioffi.
RaiderRamble.com was recently able to ask Cioffi some questions and got to know him a little better as he begins to live out his dream of playing in the NFL.
Thomas played safety for the Sooners and was a three-year starter and team captain displaying both talent and leadership qualities. Moreover, he finished his career with 174 total tackles, 79 assists, and four interceptions. He also was an All-Big 12 pick his junior season and an honorable mention the following year.
Reggie McKenzie continues to be a smooth cookie when it comes to compiling players for his team. Sticking to his draft board, McKenzie selected Eddie Vanderdoes, a defensive tackle from UCLA.
