Ramble 101: Holy Rolling to Infamy

To reiterate a statement in an earlier segment, the Raiders have had their fair share of good AND bad highlights. They were involved in some of the most controversial plays that went in their favor and some that didn’t. One of the most well-known of the NFL’s controversial wins ended up clinching a game for the Raiders, a play that still angers Chargers fans everywhere. It’s not an unfair chip to keep on your shoulder, Chargers fans, because everyone has a little bit of a different story. There’s nothing like a Sunday afternoon with a Holy Roller.

Khalil Mack may soon get one of the richest contracts ever

Mack’s worth more than that, but at this point and since negotiations toward a new deal have not started, it’s uncertain how much money he’s going to demand; contract talks can take two different turns: One where he becomes one of the highest-paid overall players in the NFL or a more modest one in which he gets millions but leaves money on the table in order to help the Raiders manage their salary cap. At this point, both scenarios are equally possible as he has performed at an elite level.
