Earlier today, Raiders.com shared a clip of “Move the Sticks” with Daniel Jeremiah and Bucky Brooks in which they shared their thoughts on the possibilities for the Oakland Raiders coming up at the NFL draft.

Both Brooks and Jeremiah agree that the Raiders must go defense early in the first round, and they should do this by taking Washington cornerback Kevin King. The Raiders needing help in the secondary is no secret at this point so adding a prospect such as King would be instant upgrade. His career numbers at Washington we’re also impressive with six interceptions, two forced fumbles, and recovered two fumbles.

“A+ guy, A+ worker, he just plays the game the right way” -Jeremiah and Brooks on King

As far as the second round, the consensus amongst them is that the offense needs a bruiser at running back to replace Latavius Murray. Selecting Texas running back D’onta Foreman with the 56th pick could prove to be the answer, especially if the team doesn’t pull the trigger on Marshawn Lynch or Adrian Peterson this offseason.

“This guy’s a bigger and younger version of Marshawn Lynch” -Jeremiah and Brooks on Foreman

Foreman’s stats were impressive last season as he compiled 2,028 rushing yards and scored 15 touchdowns, no doubt alongside Jalen Richard and DeAndre Washington this could be an imposing trio for the next few seasons.
