NFL Mock Draft

The Raider Ramble’s Seven Round NFL Mock Draft 2.0

With the 2017 NFL draft now just a few more days away, here at RaiderRamble.com we’d like to bring our latest seven round mock draft. Stay tuned as we will be updating our picks as we come closer to the big day!

The Raider Ramble’s Seven Round NFL Mock Draft 2.0

Round One: Cam Robinson, T, Alabama

The Oakland Raiders have one of the more dominant offensive line units in the league, however it’s not without holes and it definitely needs a future tackle as Donald Penn won’t be an elite player much longer and the right side is in even worse shape.

Round Two: Teez Tabor, CB, Florida

Although he ran a pedestrian 40-yard dash, Tabor still has excellent coverage skills and could prove to be an upgrade over the current Raiders’ cornernacks.

Round Three: Anthony Walker Jr., LB, Northwestern

Anthony Walker could be the “terror” in the middle of the Raiders defense and be the leader in the middle that the team’s been missing.

Round Four: Samaje Perine, RB, Oklahoma

Good quickness, runs in between the tackles but with good bounce, undersized, but could add key depth to that competition.

Round Five: Channing Stribling, CB, Michigan

Channing Stribling will lock up receivers in his sticky web of coverage and likewise, will stick to his man like glue.

Round Six: Tashawn Bower, DE, LSU

Tashawn Bower will prove to be “project” player but his size and foot quickness alone warrants the Raiders giving him a chance to develop in their system.

Round Seven: Thomas Sperbeck, WR, Boise State & Kai Nacua, FS, Brigham Young

The shifty Thomas Sperbeck put up impressive numbers during his career at Boise State and would add much needed depth in Oakland’s slot position.

Kai Nacua ranked 7th in the nation in takeaways last season (6 total). Perfect player to groom behind the aging Reggie Nelson.
