FA Offensive Linemen Who Could Strengthen Raiders

AQ Shipley, Center

Shipley was the starting center for the Arizona Cardinals last year. The Raiders already have pro-bowl starter Rodney Hudson, but you can never have too many competent players, and Shipley would be a cheap and solid option.
Shipley is a great pass blocker; he ranked fifth among all centers with a pass-block win rate of 96%. His run-blocking leaves a lot to be desired, but his lack of skill in that department can be minimized by the rest of the line, which is impressive in run-blocking. Shipley should cost less than $5 million annually, and his pass-blocking ability makes him a valuable pickup.

Demar Dotson, Tackle

Dotson played for Tampa Bay last year, where he started at right tackle. Like Beachum, he is another good example of a depth option for the Raiders at the tackle position. He’s an above-average pass blocker, and a solid run blocker as well.

Scherff, Beachum, Shipley, and Dotson could all help Las Vegas in a variety of ways. From star players to depth pieces, these four can all add very valuable skills to the Raiders offensive line, and these are some names Raider Nation should be on the lookout for.
