It’s only two weeks into the NFL regular season but Raider Nation already has a lot to be happy about after another Las Vegas Raiders victory.
In the long-awaited game that saw Allegiant Stadium open its doors, the Raiders convincingly defeated quarterback Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints. While Raider Nation was not there to partake during the game, they still made their presence throughout Las Vegas. More importantly, they had plenty to say on social media post-game, particularly on Twitter. As Maurice Moton of Silver and Black Today Tweeted, Raider Nation will be one happy group going into work on Tuesday morning.

There’s still plenty of football to be played but starting 2-0 must feel good after two less than stellar seasons. Quarterback Derek Carr played his best game so far this year considering who they were playing. There’s room for improvement but for now, a win is a win.
I criticize and give credit when its due.
If you crapped on Derek Carr earlier, please use those Twitter fingers to say he played a good game.
Yes, he had an ugly drive, missed some throws, but overall, he did his thing tonight.

When I say I’m done talking trash on Carr I mean it.
He showed up on the biggest possible stage and came through and led this team to victory when Jacobs was slightly hurt.
The war is over.

All great points by Raider Nation as Week 2 of the NFL season came to a close tonight. The defense still needs work in particular the pass rush, but they held their own, enough to win their second game in a row. An important thing that Twitter user Greg Soto pointed out is that tight end Darren Waller is very much the real deal. It seems the Raiders finally have their own star tight end. Without over-analyzing or nitpicking, Raider Nation should just enjoy the victory for now, as Week 3 is just around the corner.
